To Our Security Contacts at Jewish Agencies & Synagogues This messages provides guidance about JCRC's emergency and security services for our DC Jewish agencies and synagogues following our recent meeting with DC Police Chief Cathy Lanier. The Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington provides security guidance to our Greater Washington Jewish agencies and synagogues by: Working in coordination with our Jewish Federation Security Director to receive and verify security alerts relevant to our local Jewish community.  Maintaining an updated list of all local Jewish agency & synagogue security contacts and transmitting email or telephonic alerts as needed. Advising Jewish agencies and synagogues on resources for conducting on-site security assessments. Serving as liaison to state and local law enforcement as needed and assisting the Jewish Federation Security Director to maintain intelligence sources for security alerts. Securing government security funding as needed for high risk Jewish institutions. Not sure if your synagogue or agency is signed up to receive our security information or alerts?
