Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington wishes you a Shana Tova
u’Metukah, a good and sweet new year full of health, happiness and peace for
each of us, the Jewish people and the whole world.
At this season we listen for the call of the Shofar, a call to return to God, the path of righteousness to our best selves and to action. We call upon each and every one of us to act for the good of every individual and for the world itself. This is the time we particularly remember all those who are in danger of being forgotten and to remember our responsibility to ensure that this never happens.
May this indeed be a time when we celebrate the creation of the world, and dedicate ourselves to creating a world renewed.
