JCRC Statement on Freedom of Religion Act

The JCRC of Greater Washington strongly endorses the Freedom of Religion Act (HR 5207), which would prohibit the use of religion as a means of banning immigrants, refugees, and international visitors from entering the United States. “The Jewish community has a long history of promoting religious freedom and fighting against bigotry,” stated Ron Halber, JCRC Executive Director.
