The Domestic Affairs Commission develops policy statements on a broad range of issues that govern the JCRC’s legislative outreach and advocacy in suburban Maryland, Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia. Recent policy statements have covered such diverse issues as conscience clauses for pharmacists, divestment from Iran, stem cell research and environmental concerns.
