The JCRC's Northern Virginia Commission (NoVAComm) is the government advocate and community relations resource for our local Northern Virginia Jewish community.   NoVAComm: organizes candidate forums, advocacy activities and other events maintains the only on-site lobbyist in Richmond to advocate for our Jewish community's concerns gathers representatives of Northern Virginia Jewish organizations to establish our annual legislative agenda participates actively in interfaith councils, state and local boards, and civic associations and works closely with area schools systems and public institutions, such as law enforcement, and social service agencies, to sensitize them to Jewish concerns.
