JCRC works within our four pillars (government relations, Israel advocacy, inter-group relations, and social justice) to advocate for Jewish institutions and values, educate the community about key issues of concern, and reach out with our neighbors to build a better world for us all.
Government Relations
The JCRC's Maryland, Northern Virginia and District of Columbia commissions partner with local and state organizations to reach out to government officials at the federal, state and local levels to advance the legislative agenda of the Jewish community in Metropolitan Washington. Find out more.

The JCRC coordinates our community's response to Middle East and other international issues, advocates for support of Israel to political leaders and the media, and educates the community through regular briefings and programs. Find out more.
Inter-Group Relations
Fundamental to the JCRC's mission is the belief that the security and well-being of the Jewish community is connected to that of all groups in our community. JCRC builds bridges between local Jews and other Metropolitan Washington area faith and ethnic communities. Find out more.

The JCRC works for justice by advocating for public policies that promote fairness and equality. We give back to the community through partnerships with other Jewish agencies, organizations and synagogues in which we engage Jewish individuals and groups in meaningful social justice learning and effective social action projects in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area .
